Work performed by Maine Painting included extensive carpentry to redesign and rebuild porch, replace rotted framing and trim components on house and garage, replacing damaged or missing shingles and replacing several window paines.
Prep included washing the house and garage to remove soil and mildew and allowed to dry. Scraping and/or sanding to solid surface. Priming any bare substrate using Sherwin-Willams A-100 alkyd primer. Caulking all windows, doors, butt joints, etc as needed. Replacing any loose or missing window glazing. The house and garage was then painted four colors, applying two coats, using Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint. |
